In pharmacokinetic (PK) studies comparing furosemide with metallo-furosemide (“MCP-111”) rats dosed orally with the solid test material, we have demonstrated up to 62% increase in Cmax with MCP-111, a consistent decrease in tmax and 2.4-fold reduction in inter-subject variability.  The graph below shows an example of one of these pharmacokinetic studies.
